Disney goes all out for Blu-ray tour

As one of the biggest content supporters for Blu-ray, Disney will be kicking off a multi-million dollar promotional tour for the high definition format.

Disney will set up mall kiosks in 18 cities across the country, showing off new and upcoming Blu-ray movies.  It's a move that Disney hopes will educate non-enthusiast customers about the Sony-fronted format.  In addition to interactive demo stations, the kiosks will show presentations of select videos every hour...

Japan says no to Xbox 360 price cut

In a response to Sony's recently announced PS3 price drop in the US, Microsoft's Japan division said it has no plans to change the price on the Xbox 360, but left North America out of the conversation.

Many observers expect Microsoft to announce the Xbox 360's first price cut during a press briefing tomorrow night, in advance of the official start of the E3 Media & Business Summit...
