Title: Need to remove Copyright protection from dvr-ms format
Post by: gamblingcowboy on July 08, 2008, 10:15:40 AM
I Have a HP Pavillion Media Center Computer and recently started using the media center to record live tv from my DVR/  I was able to record then convert to DVD one file, but I recorded a movie from HBO, and went to create a DVD.  It said it was copyright protected and could not create a dvd.  How was it able to detect a copyright protection over the tv broadcast?  How can I remove the protection to record on a DVD?  I located the recorded file on my hard drive and it ends with .dvr-ms.  Is there a program that can convert this type of format to any other format?

Thanks

while Xilisoft DVD Copy Express  (http://www.xilisoft.com/dvd-copy-express.html) can keep you out of the protection trouble! Maybe you should have a try !
