Title: Sound too low Post by: robin.thompson on July 09, 2008, 06:32:01 AM Dear All
I am busily converting all my DVDs for use on an Archos device (705). This seems to work pretty well but the the sound is very quiet. Even with the device turned up to full volume it is difficult to hear when I'm on a train for instance. I have bought a cheap(ish) pair of noise cancelling headphones but even these have not helped. Any hints? Robin Title: Re: Sound too low Post by: rbanke on July 12, 2008, 02:25:56 PM If you are using AC3, this may help. I've been doing my stuff in AC3 and some of my rips were very quiet. Going into the ac3 settings and disable 'normalize' in the mixer tab. This made the quiet ones the same volume as my normal sounding ones.
