Title: Problem with Fairuse 2.8 Post by: Little-Puff on August 26, 2008, 11:27:31 PM I've just installed Fairuse 2.8 on my computer and got right into running a few test runs with a couple of DVD's I had. What happen has just stumped me.
I've gone thru the setup for the first stage of the wizard but when I click on the next button for the next step, which starts the encoding the software shuts down. I've used the default settings on each of the DVD's I've tried with no success. Please advise. and Thanks Title: Re: Problem with Fairuse 2.8 Post by: afonic on August 27, 2008, 02:03:22 PM Any error messages when it shuts down? Look for fairuse.log as well.

Does it happen with all DVDs? Have you tried multiple codecs? (XviD and H264 for example) Title: Re: Problem with Fairuse 2.8 Post by: Little-Puff on August 28, 2008, 08:19:33 PM Quote Does it happen with all DVDs? Have you tried multiple codecs? Try some similar program like Handbrake and if it works email ump and he may be able to help.
