Title: FU 2.8 shrinks video size Post by: BigRedNole on August 31, 2008, 09:10:57 AM OK. I am new to this and I have searched the forums a bit to see if I could find a similar problem. A little background: I am trying to store my DVDs to an HDD to stream to a PCH A100. I have store about 20 videos in ISO format. The problem is these files are 6+GBs and will destroy space quickly. I was looking for a compression program to help lower that size down a bot without losing too much video quality. Different forums led me to FairUse.
I tried it with one movie and going through the steps were quite easy. I am not too familiar with the all of the options, so I may have done something wrong. However, when the movie completed the movie was shrunk. When I played it on the TV, it only covered about 40% of the TV. There was also video corruption on the lower 10% of the video. Needless-to-say, this is not acceptable for what I am looking for. Does anyone have any idea what might have caused this or what settings I should use?
