Title: Sony NWZ- A826 Post by: swatty on September 26, 2008, 11:36:01 AM I have this video player and it does use the H.264 codec have downloaded the software Super. Used the profile for the Apple Ipod which I read somewere said it works. Tried it, worked for a while and now my player says: "File format not supported." but it plays it in MPEG4 SP with out a problem. I would rather use the H.264 format as I found it better and clearer.
Here are the Specs in which I have used on the Super 1. Profile:Apple/Ipod 2. Output Codec: H.264.AVC setting 3. Audio Codec: ACC-LC 3. Video Scale Size: 320*240 4. Aspect Ratio: 3:2 (Trying 16:9) 5. Frames per seconds: 25 (Tried 30) 6. Bitrate: 384 per second. The settings above did not work. ;-( The Sony Web site said it supports the h.264 codec. Any 1 tell my why the MPEG 4SP format works but not the H.264 codec when the Sony website says it does.?
