Title: Need some more help with DVDx
Post by: TanKilleR on February 13, 2004, 01:59:14 PM
I read the How To at :
http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdrip&name=divx5
But I keep running into a prob, get to the next chapter and or somewhat close to it and the RiPing stops.I\'d just like to have it RiP the Whole DVD in one run,is there a way how ? If not,can you think of another easy DVD RiPing app to let me do this in one run, with still letting me RiP it to DivX5.1.1 and put it to my HD.
-Thanks

What you want is batch encode and unfortunately DVDx does not support it.
You can try Dr.DivX.
The guide is here:

Please fix your signature and put a smaller image, this one is bigger than your post!

Sorry about that.
Is there a way to see just how much Mb space its going to takeup,or a way to only get the vid files.I have a small HD with only 6GB left on it,so I don\'t want to be crashing my PC RiPing VOB\'s.

I\'m afraid that with a 6GB HD you cannot rip a DVD as some of them are over 7GB. I suggest you use DVDx, even if it takes you much time.
