Hi! I\'m new to encoding DVDs to Divx format and I\'m using Dr. Divx (the newest version). Encoding proceeds as normal and to completion. But when I play the file, audio is only heard for the first few minutes. Then silence. Video continues to play normally. I have tried this on different VOB files. The same thing happens. Audio is only heard at the first few minutes.
I\'m actually trying to encode my Star Trek TNG Seasons DVDs. Each disc has 4 episodes (each approximately 45 minutes long). I have use DVD Decrytper to Rip the DVD to my harddisk. Then use Dr. Divx to encode the files to divx format. Also, as I\'m testing it out, I am only selecting one of the vob files and not all of them. Does that make a difference?
Please advise. I\'m really pleased with the encoding quality of the video but I just need to solve the audio problem. Thanks.
I think the problem is the IFO file for each maybe, when putting them on the harddrive did you not also get a IFO file with them? Try each Vob file with the IFO file as well.. or just do all vobs like you said see what happens, I\'ve also used this program and I like it alot but never had this problem with audio but I do all vob file and not just one.
