hi there,

i only can create 16 bit xvid movies with fuw.
and there is no bitrate shown at rightclick --> file properties

if i use virtualdub for example, i create 24 bit movies with the same xvid encoder settings.

what could be wrong?

MPEG-2 (DVD) is encoded on 12 bits, as are DivX and XviD files. Yes, 12 bits, no more, no less. Technically, this is because the picture data is coded in an YV12 color space, in which each pixel is coded using... 12 bits. Smiley
