No need to say much.

If you are looking for a powerful yet really compact (just one 600MB CD for installation) linux distro here you go.

Easy for newbies, huge repository to easily install software and good-looking.

I figured you\'d been away for awhile. Anyways it installed real easy. i just wiped the second drive in my comp (30gig) and installed it no probs. We have been having problems with it talking to our cable modem on the network. But we just figured out today that it was talking to our networked printer instead of our cable modem. Easy fix  B) . So all is running good right now. It has 68MB of updates. But we won\'t fix that until we are done downloading Azumanga Diaoh. So much bandwidth I need. Still need another 4 Gigs for Azumanga Diaoh while I got 68MB of updates for Ubuntu. I need to update my 2 uncle\'s computer (one got hit with lighting and the other was eaten up with spyware and viruses) so thats probably 148MB of updates per. We have the Windows SP2 disk with DirectX 9.0c so that cuts off a good 250-300MB in the updating process Wink . But thats off subject lolz. Anyways I only get 200MB per 12 hours so thats makin me string things out.  Sad . Oh well I\'ll just work on it a little every day.

This disto is useless. If you run Linux under windows, why run Linux at the first time? Complete waste of time.

Try Ubuntu (www.ubuntu.com). If you want to test it out, download the live CD first (it loads from the CD during boot up time and you can use it to see the system and check hardware compatibility) and then download the install CD.

I am using Ubuntu 90% of the time. I just boot windows for games and for video editing and other video related stuff.

Good luck!
