retrieving jpeg's from and SVCD

I made what was supposed to be an SVCD video slide-show.
What i have on the disc now are 4 folders.......Ext, Mpeg2, Segment, and Svcd.......i open the Segment folder and i see the jpegs i had, but they are all now item0001.mpg, item0002.mpg and so on......how do i \"rescue\" these former jpegs and put them back in a folder on my desktop.
I used nero6 ultra to do this.
Any takers??

hi,

just a thought here..if the files are a few kilobytes can you use MS paint or something similar , try dragging the mpg into the program and see if it opens? if so save it in jpg format.

I tried surfing around to see if MPG to JPG conversion is possible but it seems only from JPG to MPG is possible
