I\'m new at this so sorry if this is a basic question.  I\'ve read guides all over the internet for the past few weeks and I still can\'t get this to work.

What I\'m trying to do is create an MPEG of a dvd, which I can then edit in Premiere.  Here\'s what I\'m doing...

Dvd-Decryptor - Rip as File *.vob (I also tried ripping as IFO)

DVD2AVI - load all .vob files and save project (not save .AVI) so I get a .wav file for audio and a .d2v for video

TMPGENC - load wav and .d2v to create .mpg

I can\'t get the audio to synch up with the video...it always comes out looking like a bad dubbed movie.  Also, I turned on deinterlace and inverse telecine and used MPEG2 in TMPGENC, but the picture still has lots of artifacts.

As I said, I\'ve read lots of guides and tried following them, but they don\'t seem to work for what I\'m doing.

I appreciate any help anyone has

Thanks
