Hello,

I'm new to this and have been doing hours of reading.  However, I looking for opinions on which brand of media to buy.

Any suggestions would be great.

From what I've read I understand that there is very little difference between DVD-R and DVD+R...DVD-R has a better success rate on standalone players??

Thanks for your help

Hi,

yes, DVD-R are better in terms of compatability.

Some good brands are TDK, Traxdata, Maxell.

I've actually found that Memorex DVD (+) R works extremely well. I was using (-) for a while, but the new + seem to work better for everyone I make DVD's for.
