Hey,

I used DVD decrypter to put a dvd onto my harddrive. I have no interest in burning it onto a new dvd. I just want to watch in on my computer. What other program do I need to have to convert the weird  '.BUP' and '.IFO' files into a watchable movie.
Thankyou for taking your time to help the helpless.

It really depends on the movie. Most movies do fine simply with DVD Decrypter, however if it it ARccOS protected youll need PSL files (Protected Sector List) to import to DVD Decrypter. If that is the case youll need do do a couple of down loads but youll certainly be happy with the results. May I ask the title of the movie? If not, simply go here and try and find your PSL. Hope that helps. Good luck.

You can watch these files as they are, you just have to get a software DVD player and select "Load Folder" (or something like that) to load these files and watch the movie as if you were watching a DVD.

Now the best way to store movies, would be to convert them in some other format (XviD, DivX etc).

Have a look at our DVD Rip guides, and check out Fairuse Wizard:
