Hi guys
Have been using dvd-r discs with nero 6 and the movie plays fine using power dvd, it will also plays on my ps2 but when I insert disc into home dvd player it reads NO DISC. When I looked at the manual it definitely says it accepts dvd-r so any ideas as to what could be happening. Cheers Blotto

Thanks for the reply, I asked my dad to burn of a movie using the same media and software and his disc worked which is very strange, so the media seems fine so I will try burning at different speeds and see what happens.
