I eliminated most of the brain damage from the last 4 years. I now own a stand-alone recorder. I recorded from my 8mm camera. It made a good recording onto DVDRW. Now I'm going to edit it in Video Studio 8. The problem is that VS8 doesn't understand AC3. So I guess I need a plugin. I'm now trying to figure out how to put a pluging for this purpose in VS8. I don't see a plugin folder other than individual visual arts stuff. I wonder if I can just download a free AC3 fliter and get it to work in VS8.
