I've been successfully transferring AVI's to DVD's with menus and everything for a while. However recently I've started getting problems. It start that after advert breaks I'd get lip sync problems. I couldn't fix them so I upgraded Nero 6 to the latest versions of the various software components but that didn't stop it. So I tried a diifferent tack and converted the avi's to mpegs with guiffmpeg. Not bad - worse quality of course, but also now, most files cause loud corrupt audio that lasts for anything between 2 - 5 minutes before sorting itself out. Can anyone help? I'd rather go back to using the AVI directly from Nero - has anyone heard of anything like this?

Hi,

maybe it only happens with a specific AVI or a specific team of files you have?

Or does it happen with all of them?

Try using some other program, like DivXToDVD and see it the problem continues to appear there too.
