Hello, I m new to this board and this is my first time using TMPGEnc. I've followed all the directions and read pretty much about the how to convert avi files to dvd, but i m still having troubles. hope you experts in here can help me out.
Basically, i have a movie that is in avi files but it was split into 2 parts.

Disc 1: video source is :83553 frames, 30fsp, 46 min. 25 sec. 9, 672X368
          VFAPI:Directshow multimedia file reader
           audio source is :133685760 samples, 48000 Hz, 46 min. 25 sec. 11, 2 Ch
           VFAPI:Directshow multimedia file reader

Disc 2: Video Source is : 94847 frames, 30fsp, 52 min. 41 sec. 56, 672x368
           VFAPI:Directshow multimedia file reader
            audio source is : 151754880 samples, 48000 Hz, 52min. 41 sec. 55, 2 Ch
            VFAPI:Directshow multimedia file reader

After going thru "set source, set output..and enconding:.........." i chose to save the output in 1 files. everything goes well..until it reach  frame 83553/83553 and where the status said 50% and error message comes up "invalid file format"...
no matter what i do.. i chose to convert 1 file at a time. or chose 2 files.  whenever it reached the last frame of that files.. and the status said 50%.. the error message comes out.
i have tried to joined the 2 avi files into one single files (window media plays it fine).. and using tmpgenc to covert it. still the same problem. when ever it reached the last frames of the first file. the error message comes on.
i have tried using winavi to convert to dvd ... the same problem.. it will only convert the first files.

what am i doing wrong.. ? can anyone walk me through on this?

thnx in advance..

tricks...
