Trying to convert ASF to DVD stops at 9% then jumps to 100% and says completed.  System meets minimum specs easily.  Have tried reinstall but still 9% even when trying to convert to other formats stops at 9%.  All responses are appreciated and will be looked into.

Does it happen with all ASF files you have or just with a specific one?

You can try using a program like this:
http://www.video-fixer.com/

to see if the video is problematic or corrupt.
