My wife has this movie that she really likes, but the stupid thing is split, half the movie on one side and the other half on the other side.  It seams that they with with a 2 sided single layer disk rather than a dual layer.

So my question is, can I rip both sides to my PC, join them and burn them to a DL disk?  That way it wont have to be fliped to see side 2.  And if need be, I dont care about the menues, the movies all that matters.

Thanks for any help you can give on this matter.

Cavey,
That is a wonderful guide.
All that is missing is an answer to the question
often asked at the end of each guide on combining dvd files,
"how to create a menu for 2 (or more) movies on one DVD?"
So how does one create a menu on DVD so that I may quickly pick which movie to view?
