I need to convert WMV to dvd. I just downloaded Winavi but the WMV is a file that needed a license. I purchased the license for the file but how can I convert this to DVD or cant I?

Licence? What kind of licence?

If you want to convert WMV to DVD just make sure they play in Windows Media Player (if not the player will download a codec itself). Then just load the files in WinAVI and convert them to DVD using the guide:
