Before you convert your files, please bear in mind the general limits which the iPod carries~

H.264 video: up to 768 Kbps, 320x240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats.

3. As usual, the longest title is the main file of the movie. You can remove the title you don't like to convert by choosing the title, right-clicking and 'Remove'.

4. Set 'Subtitle' to what you like. To 'Output Folder', Enter the full pathname or choose the path where you want to save your video files by clicking 'Output folder'.

5. Need not set 'Input settings' and 'Output Settings', just click 'Convert' to start ripping DVD to iPod video files.
Trouble Shooting
If during the converting period, an error message came up that said you did not have some DivX Pro codec supported software installed and refused to go any further, please download the free DivX codec from http://www.allforvideo.com/download/DivX6.exe and install. After installing, run the DVD to iPod converter, click 'Settings -> Output settings', choose 'DivX 6.0 codec' from 'Codec', and click 'Ok', then start converting.

6. Find the .mp4 file that DVD to iPod converter created and drag it into your iTunes library, or select 'Add File to Library' from the 'File' menu and select the encoded movies. Now you can watch it with iTunes or Quicktime Player on your PC.

* Run DVD to iPod converter component, click 'Settings -> Output settings', select 'AVI(DivX,Xvid)', 'VCD', 'SVCD', 'MPEG1' or 'MPEG2' as output format, and then choose related codec from 'Codec' options, click 'Ok'.

Procedure

Tips: Before converting, you can click 'Advance -> Video settings' to set 'Video format', 'Resolution', 'Framerate', 'Output Quality'. How to convert Flash swf movie files to iPod video using Flash to iPod Converter and transfer to 5-gen video iPod.

1. Download flash to iPod Converter from http://www.allforvideo.com/download/Flash_to_iPod_Converter_setup_v110.exe , intall and run.

2. Click "Add Flash", load your Flash (.swf) movie or video files.

Trouble Shooting: No audio or the audio is low

Hi,

I converted part of a dvd with the cucusoft trial version and when I try to play the file in Itunes ( I have the newest version) or in Quicktime version 7 the audio is fine; however, the video is seperated into six sections vertically and several sections horizontally as if it was scrambled. The file plays just fine in real player. Can you help me to get it to play correctly in quicktime and will it paly ok on the ipod video player I hope to get for xmas?
