hello.

i just burned a dvd to play on my home dvd system.

i have done everything right and i dont understand. help me with this please Smiley

My dvd is done and ready to use on my dvd  home system. but when i set the movie on some of the picture is missing :S this problem is not when i use my dvd player on the computer but only in my dvd i use for TV :S its about an half cm missing in each corner. like its zoomed in or something. this is ONLY on my DVD player i use daily, not the computer dvd.

it must be something with my dvd player or my TV... i really dont understand this. i have the exact same problem with one of my channels on on my tv. its like my TV wont show everything in the picture. but all my other DVD`s play right picture size and everything. But not this burned one. Sad

Can someone tell me whats wrong?? And what can i do?

thanks for help with this.  (i am norwegian so dont blame my english ) Tongue

Hi there,

Welcome to the forums, i dont think it is the burning software at fault here, just to check what software are you using to rip your DVD? Do post and let us know

Also Perhaps you can refer to one of our guides for help and for the settings

I'd say your TV/monitor is running slightly overscanned. This is normal. There is a part of the picture that is described as not containing essential action. It is about 5% of the total picture area. You are not missing much.
