hi...
i want to convert an avi movie to dvd...with subtitles
i used winavi first...but some lines of the subtitle just dissapeared throught conversion (subtitles worked just fine but winavi loses some dialogs...it's an old problem...)
now i use winavi with dvd-lab 2.1...
i convert the avi file with winavi without the subtitle to an mpeg 2 file...then i load the mpeg 2 with dvd-lab witch creats an mpv and mpa...then i load the subtitle and fin (perfect quality)...
but with this method i can convert only pal movies 25fps
why?...because dvd-lab doesn't support 23,976 NTSC movies...it only supports 29,970 NTSC movies
and if i convert from 23,976 to 29,970 with winavi or dvd-lab the resulting video doesn't play well...
it freezes...
so what can i do?
i've heard of pulldown but i can't pulldown an mpeg file (wich is still 23,976) only mpv file but the mpv i can only get with dvd-lab wich allready damages the video because it converts it to 29,970 ...so i can't do the pulldown...
