Joining Two AVI files CD1 and CD2

OK i have been doing this for about a week now and i have about 20 of my old movies that cant be joint to gether because a get this MSG from Virtual Dub Mod 1.5.10.2

"VirtualDub has detected an improperVBR audio encoding in the source avi file (audio stream 1). The current prefrerance is to rewrite the audio header with standarf CBR Values during processing for better Compatibility. This may introduce up to 27936 ms of skew from the video stream. Ig this is unacceptable, Decompress the *Entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and Recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (bitrate: 163.7 (some charater that looks like a upside down t and f mix together) 17.0 kbps)

Do you still want to rewrite the header?

If anyone can explain to me what this mean in more details and come up with a solution. and by the way can you do batch with this program. I have about 20 files. Thank you

if you do what it says it should work:

goto file>save WAV
once completed goto Audio>WAV audio and select the .wav you just saved
goto Audio>Direct Stream Copy
make sure Video>direct stream copy is selected
then file>save as AVI

do that for both CD1 and CD2 movies. then when you join them change to full processing mode under audio and set the compression format to whichever you choose.

kinda wayward but lemme know how it works out
