Hey guys, I'm new - as you can tell  Grin

I've got a question here..
Many of my friends have reported , or told (not to sound too formal  Tongue ) me that they have seen, or found, some even have downloaded / bought a few , as they call them, Multi DVD's.

I, myself, am very familiar with the DivX format along with all other formats, my query is this.

I've used ConvertXtoDVD to create a 4.2(ish)GB DVD from 2 AVI files. These Multi DVD's contain 3 DVDs on the one disk, no Subs obviously, with a menu and at the same quality. If i try to use 3 AVI's with ConvertXtoDVD the output is roughly 5.5(ish)GB. Any ideas what I can do or use to sort this out?

Cheers guys, I know someone will have an answer  Cheesy Wink

Hi,

Are you sure you have selected DVD5 as the target size in ConvertXToDVD's options?

Also, how big in size (minutes) are in total the videos you want to convert?

the size, in minutes is normally around about 2 hours.. an example..

Bad Santa and Saw III fit on a standard DVD5 (4.7gb) disk (bad santa being 1 hr, 40 minutes and saw III being 1 hr 53 minutes) at around 3.5gb converted. Adding an extra film will make this around about 5.4gb.

I have selected DVD5 but it goes way over the limit. Someone made a multi with Bad Santa, Saw II and Final Destination 3 - all at DVD quality in 4.35gb - just wondering if anyone knows how I could fit these on there? They are all DivX files at ~700mb that i am converting.

Cheers
