I've noted that when using H264 encoding with "two pass" setting on, the "bitrate" and "quantizer" settings are mutually exclusive (if you use one, you can't use the other).

Are the majority out there choosing "quantizer" over a minimum bitrate?

Any overall thoughts between the two?

I use Divx, and I always use bitrate, mostly because it's easier to determine the final file size, and I'm just used to how the quality comes out for various bitrates according to the type of movie. I spose you'd get a feel for the same thing using quantizer though.
