hi all
i put 2 avi files on to dvd using ConvertXtoDVD and the dvd plays ok on my pc but not on my dvd player,so any ideas or other programmes that work would be appreciated

Hi,

You should not be so sure that the problem is ConvertXToDVD.

Is your DVD player a new one? Can it play both DVD-R and DVD+R. Are you using a decent brand of media (TDK, Traxdata, Verbatim) or some no-name?

If you are 100% sure the media you are using work in your DVD player then you should start thinking whats wrong with ConvertXToDVD.

thanks for the reply,the dvd player & disc's are ok i have always used winavi with no problems but i cant use it to create a menu so i tried convertxtodvd,so i know the problem lies with that but why ?? other people seem to be using it ok

Try burning the same files with a diff prog like Nero.
