Hi all. I've been using WinAvi 7.7 for a wile and started to get problems with the sound going out of sync with the picture. So I asked a friend who used WinAvi too to show me his advanced settings. He had no problems with out of sync. I changed my settings to his but still no luck. So I'm stuck with a load of dvds which are out of sync and Its really annoying me! Could anyone help?

P.S I'm convertering AVI to DVD.

That may because the file you have is different with your friend's.So even if you have the same setting with him,but you can't have right result.
You can try to don't select AC3 option, try MP2,and don't select WinAVI built-in decoder(can find this in menu-->options),then convert to DVD.

Split into two part, may because the converted file is too large to put in one folder.
Which mode you select in advanced option? Constant video quality or size?
And how large about your DVD folder?

The files are 1.36! They worked fine and I'm using constant video size
