Hi,

I'm using WinAvi and DVD Shrink (w/ Nero) to burn Avi files to dvd.

I have a few questions and I'd appreciate your suggestions.

1- Is there any way I can get the output to be in DVD format as opposed to Dvix?

2- I'm using DVD Shrink to burn after converting with WinAvi because I've read many people have had problems using Nero directly. I've been able to burn directly with Nero with no problem.  Is there any advantage to using DVD shrink?

4- I have a movie that is split into two avi files.  Is there any way to combine the files to get a continuous dvd output?

3- I'm going to convert a movie that's in avi format with an srt (subtitles) file.  What the best way for me to to do this?

Thanks a lot

1.Did you means you want to convert dvd to avi? If this WinAVI can do that.Just need to select .vob files for the conversion.
2.I don't use that so I don't know.
3.Because you have WinAVI,so you also can use it ot convert two avi files into one DVD.Winavi can merge files into one.
4.WinAVI also can support subtitles if you have installed VOBSUB on your pc.And put the movie and subtitles in the same name and same directory.
