Hi,

I am new to this and I have tried several dvd trial conversion programs including cucusoft. The converted file, when palyed back in the newest version of itunes or in quicktime 7, has the video all segmented horizontally and vertically as if it were scrambled, the audio plays fine. The file plays fine in real player. I have windows  Xp with the latest service packs updated.

Can you please help.

also, will the file play properly in the ipod video I hope to get for xmas.

If you have winavi ipod video converter,you can make it easy.It can convert video files to .mp4 or can convert to your ipod directly,don't need other software.If you like you can try trial version first.
