help required... i recently downloaded dvd shrink on my new computer and this seems to be the problem.....when i create a .iso file through the steps given here..it creates a file with the extension MDS and not an iso. any help on what to do??It also create a few extra files that are I00 files.

and it doesn't give any errors? how big are each of the files? it doesn't make sense for DVD Shrink to output mds files. These are files DVD Decrypter creates to allow for dual layer DVD duplication, they map where the data stream splits for the second layer. DVD Shrink exists to shrink.. Ohh wait a second. Make sure under Preferences that it's set to DVD-5 (4.7Gb). Maybe when it's set to DVD-9 it makes an MDS...

and you have enough space on the output drive?
