Read this guide and learn how to burn a DVD movie to playback in your home DVD player from all modern video formats, including AVI, DivX, XviD (*.avi, *.divx, *.div), MPEG-4, H.264 (*.mp4, *.m4v), MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (*.mpeg, *.mpg, *.m1v, *.m2v, *.dat, *.mpe), DVD (*.ifo, *.vob, *.vro), DV AVI (*.avi, *.dv, *.dif), Quick Time (*.mov, *.qt), WMV, WMV-HD (*.wmv, *.asf), 3GPP, H.263 (*.3gp, *.3g2, *.3gpp, *.3gp2), Real Video (*.rm, *.rmvb), SWF (*.swf), DVR-MS (*.dvr-ms), Flash Video (*.flv), Matroska (*.mkv), Ogg Video (*.ogm) .

Step 1. Download AVS Video Converter, install and run it. You can get more features about it by referring here.

Step 2. Start > All Programs > AVS Media > AVS Video Tools > AVS Video Converter

Step 3. Select Output File Type
Click the To DVD button along the top of the interface.

Step 4. Choose Input Video File(s) or DVD
Click the uppermost Browse button on the right. Navigate to the location where you keep your video files or DVDs, and select the video that you would like to convert and burn to DVD or VCD. Click Open.
Note: AVS Video Convert is a batch converter. So you can open several video files (even of different formats) at once and burn them to a DVD.

Step 5. Select the Output Location
Click the bottom Browse button on the right. Choose the location where you would like to store a temporary video DVD folder on your computer hard disc. Click Save.Note: If you want to burn a video file or files that have a combined duration of more than 1 hour, you have to set the output location that has at least 5 GB of free disk space.
Do not set a DVD drive as an output location!!!

Step 6. Select the Output Format Profile
In the list of Profiles select one of the available profiles.
Note: Select NTSC profiles for USA and Canada and PAL for Europe.

Step 7. Convert Video
Click Convert Now and step away from the computer (processor performance will be seriously affected during conversion). If you want to watch the progress while you convert, click the Advanced button until the viewing screen pops out of the bottom.

Step 8. Burn DVD
Insert a blank CD or DVD media. Select DVD burner from the list (if you have more than one). And click Start burning!
That’s all! In about half an hour you will have a DVD ready for your home DVD player.

Step 9. Create DVD chapters (optional)
If you want to split your future DVD into chapters, click Edit along the top of the interface before clicking Convert Now! (step 7: Convert Video).
This action switches AVS Video Converter into the Editing mode. Please follow this link to read more: AVS Video Converter: How to split a DVD into chapters.

Hope this guide can help you Grin
