I want to batch convert all the episodes from a DVD to Xvid files. The only way I can see to do this is to create a new project for each episode and defer processing until all 6 episodes are queued up and then process all projects. Is there a quicker way of doing this in Fairuse Wizard? I was hoping I can just highlight all 6 episodes and then start the process however this only converts a single episode.

I'm also on the same boat.  Couldn't find a oneclick solution...
After hours of going through this forum I ended up doing it this way:

  • Just make one project, and select all chains "multisession"
  • After indexing is done, you should get something like the below screenshot

  • doubleclick each one, and configure individually, DEFER after each configure
  • when all has been configured.... "process all sessions"

Would be nice to be able to set a single quality level for all in one shot (I always use ~1000-1300kbits/s , sse @ highest quality, .2-.3 bits/pixel, 128mp3 or ac3 nothing inbetween)

Be EVEN nicer if there was an option to have them automatically combined into one avi+sub at the end...

I finally sussed this out after discovering the process all sessions option - I only saw the process all projects option previously.
Thanks bT for your help, your excellent tutorial on your web page confirmed to me that I was doing it right. Much appreciated. Smiley
