I've recently replaced my harddrive but since then WINAVI is no longer working. Everytime I tried to open a video file (RM, RMVB, AVI etc..) always comes back with something like 'unable to open, locate the source file'. I've reinstalled the K-lite codec and later also tried with Storm Codec but no use. All files confirmed can be played back with my Window player as well as any other players. Please help me out thanks....Stephen

Btw, to convert RM/RMVB file, you have to install realalt143.exe (http://www.winavi.com/download/realalt143.exe)

Besides the needed codecs, you should make sure your source file can be played on your pc.
Also the file name and the input directory of the source file should in usual English.

I think the names don't have to be in English but in 'English' alphabet (as I read elsewhere). No Greek, Russian or German etc characters.
