Hi all

I recently updated Nero to 7.8.5.0 (on WinXP, 1Gb RAM, plenty of HDD space).

I noticed issues with synching issues so I cleaned Nero off and clean installed Nero. Since then I have an ongoing issues that Nero Vision 4 seems to burn dvds in 'slow motion'.

The avi's play correct and I check the files for integrity. The method I usually use is transcode to an image and then burn the image to dvd. I've also tried to burn to HDD as a folder then copy the folder to dvd.

As part of trying to solve the issue I've uninstalled all my codecs and updated each pack with the latest.

[Update] When viewing the avi's through Nero Vision when selecting "Edit Movie" the avi's play in 'slow motion' as the resulting dvd's play. However as I mentioned above watching the avi's through Classic Media Player etc are fine. [End Update]

Now, other than throwing the PC out the 5 storey window, I've run out of things to 'fix'.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate your assistance.

Kind regards
Tropolite

ive been having the same problem, and it seems that there is no way around this. Nero has to transcode the file then burn it onto the dvd, so i takes a long time. The only thing that will speed up the proccess is a faster proccesor/more ram so that it can transcode faster.

One thing you can do is select the option to burn the dvds while its being transcoded, this will save time, and close any apps you have open so your computer can concentrate everything on the trancoding.
