I have bought a dvd of a tv series that I was in.  I want to copy the dvd to my computer and then edit out my scenes into a file i can send to my agent and burn to a disk.  Can anyone tell me what software i need (is there any that are free that do this?) and how to do this.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

copy the DVD to HD using DVDFab Decrypter (free one is avail) then use mpeg2cut to cut the scenes out.

after u have done all that, u can burn the edited files to DVD or CD (depending on size) as data or u can use Nero Vision Express to convert them to DVD to play on a SAP.
