first im new here and this forum looks awesome Smiley

and now for my issue:

i'v purchased 2days ago a Panasonic dvd player S325

it plays xvid and everything is fine except for subtitles

it wont display the subs even tho i'v burned it right (In nero the xvid file and .sub\.srt both has the same name)

Any idea's?

are you sure the sub format is .srt? most DivX players dont play .sub/.idx files.
if file is not .srt convert the .sub/.idx file to .srt using subrip.
then reburn the files making sure that both files have exactly the same name except for the ext i.e. .avi & .srt.

Yes i made sure its .srt and even converted it to .sub and reburned the cd (yes both files has the same names)

mate of mine said i gotta find my country code (which is hebrew) (4digits) so i can put it in options > subtitles and then it'll show subs fine...but i didnt had much luck with that either Sad

The subs are not in unicode are they? That may be the problem.

Sorted the problem Wink (more or less)...after even the store i bought it from couldnt sort it with tech-support they gave me an APEX DVR drx-8637 dvd player and recorder Cheesy everything works fine there Smiley
