I've got an IOmagic IDE1004 DVDRW, whose Windoze drivers (v8.0) came with Pinnacle instantCDDVD (v8.0). Instaling Nero Burning ROM (v6 or v7 could have been either), produced another driver letter involved with CD/DVD functionality. However, I lost both DVD-r and DVD-rw functionality; even upon removal of Nero!? I've undertaken all sorts measures to restore the functionality, but to no avail. I am aware of the article "Nero 6 and Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD Conflicts!!" (http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=78793). Can anyone else that has experienced this problem, and overcome it, post the manner in which they overcame it here? Cheers.
