burning FROM from hard drive to dvd burner

Hello,

I have a problem.  I can burn the dvd movie i have placed on my hard drive, but when i burn the dvd to the burner and play this on the dvd player to the television I have no sound.  I have tried two different softwares but I still get no sound.  I have checked the control panel thoroughly.  I noticed when I burned the disc all the checkmarks were placed in the boxes for dts ac3 channnel 6 & 3.  would anyone have an idea.  thanks

Do you mean play DVD without sounds after made. In your post you say you have used two different software.  which you have used?
Have you seen the (*.srt) file during burning?
