hello, wondering if someone can help somone new to all this.  I am using Windows XP and recently created a WMV file using Windows Movie Maker.  I am then trying to either convert this file to AVI or to DVD/VCD/SVCD, but when I try to convert using WINAVI Ver 7.7, in the final conversion window it doesn't show the source file and it just gets stuck at 0% for about 5 minutes before it says all tasks completed, but it actually doesn't do anything.  Sometimes it will create an MPEG file, but there is nothing in it.  The WMV file is 5 min & 30secs, Audio Sample:16, Channel(s):2, Audio Renderer & Video Renderer are WMV DMO Decoder & WMA DMO Decoder.  The WMV file plays fine in Windows Media Player.  After reading WINAVI's website I downloaded & installed the K-Lite Codec Pack, but this still made no difference.  I have sent 3 emails to support at WINAVI, but I have had no response whatsoever.  This is very frustrating as it is video of my niece which I would love to burn to CD or DVD to send to relatives inter-state & overseas.
If anyone could offer any assistance it would be so much appreciated!!!!

If you use WMP11 on your pc,maybe that is the problem.
If this, you can email to WinAVI supporter, they have fixed that out. Then can help you.
Good luck!

Thank you for your response.  I am using WMP11, so I will try and email WINAVI support again.
