Well after reading this forum I decided to purchase the ImTOODVD ripper Platinum edition, so that I could transfer my DVD library to Hard disk to use with my iTV from apple. Well the first rip didn't go to well, the format was 720p H264 and the final file size about 2.4 Gig. Couldn't play the file as I got the message shown in the post topic. I can rip smaller files in the same format and play them as required,it seems to be the file size that makes quick time not want to play the file and see it as a non quick time movie file ? Has anyone worked out how to solve this problem, I have e-mailed the program vendor , and asked for the solution, no reply so far.

I own the Curisoft and have found it not very good. Purchased this software first. Sound out of Sync, Also get the same message on H.264 conversion if file size is over 2 Gigs. Conversion is very slow with both programs. I think it is just too early in the development phase to get decent encoding software, I mean stuff that is fast and good. I want surround sound or DTS, as iTV has this capacity, and High definition, otherwise I might just as well hire DVD's. I actually think I would have been better waiting for a box that plays all formats.
