Recently started using 8.0 (LOVE IT), but even after downloading the quicktime/realtime alternative codec's from the Winavi site, I can't convert MOV. files (get a white screen in preview and a white screen on converted file).

Used to use 7.6/6.3, etc. and whenever I downloaded these codec's, the "warning" (when opening Winavi) went away.

Why is Winavi not recognizing these codec's?  I also use K-lite, which is supposed to contain both the realtime and quicktime alternative codec's also.

I'm puzzled!???   Huh  Huh

Could be the K-lite versions are conflicting with the separate ones. You could try uninstalling K-lite and install divx etc separately.

I know winavi recommend K-lite but I had problems also. I changed to All-in-one but I can't really recommend that, next time I will go for separates.

I use both 7.6 and 8.0, but when I open 7.6...no warnings!!!

Open 8.0 and I get the warnings.

If I try to convert any MOV. files, it goes all white screen on me.

When install the QuicktimeAlt,you need select these option:
1.QuicktimeAlt
2.Quicktime Codecs
3.Quicktime Driectshow filter
Maybe you can check if you selected them.
Besides that,do you means the v7.6 and v8.0 all on your pc,but v7.6 don't have that warning?
