There is no IFO and BUP file generated when using WinAvi 8.0 to convert AVI to DVD. Instead there is a VTS_01_1.VOB.NAV file. I cannot burn it to DVD with only the VOB file. Please advise me. Thank you.

hi,
It is because winavi failed creating IFO. Perhaps, you have to do the conversion once again!
If unluckily, it still failed, please just email support@winavi.com with detail error information and the debug.log file for some solutions.

Yes I have same problem only have the *.NAV file but no IFO and BUP It never happen in older version (7.6....7.7) I gust 8.0 have some bug inside

just as a note, winavi 8.0 final should have been labeled 8.1 to avoid confusion between the final and beta version of 8.0

Also i frequently get the no IFO error when converting in batch mode
