I totally disagree with I read. FUW has 2 version: Lite, freeware, and Full, that must be bought.

If you buy a software and tell the user that the only support you will have is an "unofficial" forum where the only software developer is absent for several months, well, I this this is robbery.

I have a full version and no support. "Good for ump", you'll say. You are right. Absolutelly right.

I think that (1) or ump says that Full version is a paid one and deserves a much better support from him or (2) it is a donation basis software and Full version should be available for anyone and not only for payers/doners.

What kind of business model you have here: an unsupported shareware, a donation forced software or what? Certainly it is not a supported shareware nor a donation willing software.

A little advice to you, innocent user: don't spare your money or your time here. I did both and now I have nothing.  Angry

we don't get funds from the developer for giving support for his software.

send an email to him for bugs etc as he is the only one who can fix it.

First off, I'm definitely not having a pop at this forum.

I have to agree with cucamonga.
I have been thinking of buying the full version but I've been put off by the apparent lack of any sort of support.

Even the posts in this forum seem to be dwindling (although enough people seem to be reading the ones that are there) - maybe people are going to some other software.

Perhaps we should start another thread or change this one into "What's the best FU alternative"!
