I'm trying t oconvert my .avi's to DVDs. When I convert them using WinAVI And watch them on my computer everything is perfect. When I burn them and watch them on my DVD player the letterbox consists of 2 bars. One is black and one is gray. It happens on every film and I can't figure out why.

I tried switching to convertx2dvd, and that fixed the letterbox issue but had much worse quality.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? I've tried burning with different programs as well.

Can the burnt DVD be perfectly played on your PC? If yes, please tell us the brand/type of your DVD Player?
