Have your iPhone been shipped to your house by AT&T? Or have your bought an iPhone from the Apple store? This small device is really cool and it is great to watch Youtube on it. There are about 10,000 videos available for the iPhone now. All Youtube movies, video clips can be played on iPhone by the autumn. What's more, with the built-in WiFi wireless, you can sync Youtube video to iPhone from PC.

But, is this enough? What about our favorite DVDs? It is easy to watch DVD on iPhone, but how? Let me show you how to do it. But at first, we have got to know something about iPhone supported video formats.

H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
H.264 video, up to 768 Kbps, 320 by 240 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

H.264 is a MPEG-4 compression standard for video, which can deliver top video quality at about half the file size of MPEG-2. H.264 technology is also known as MPEG-4 Part 10 or AVC (Advanced Video Coding).  But it will take longer encoding time than Mpeg-4. It is better for you to encode the DVD with H.264 encoder if you want to put more DVD to the 7.26Gb space.

So, let’s start our business.
Tools we will need: Wondershare DVD to iPod Converter (windows version or Mac version)
The operations on windows version and Mac version look the same, so let me take the Mac version for example.
1. Download this software and run it. You will find it is so easy to get running.

2. Import DVDs/DVD folders, this software is able to convert the dvd rip on your computer that you've downloaded from the internet.
Click Load DVD to load DVD-ROM or DVD folders (folders appear like Video_TS) to load the DVD file on your HDD.

3. And Click Start to start the conversion. This software is optimized for dual-core computer; you can save a half time to convert the DVD to your iPhone.

Something I must point out:
a) If you want to convert only the movie part, you can convert the movie by setting the start time and the end time to define a segment to convert. Of course, you can specify only the movie chapters to convert, it is OK, too.

b) If you are not satisfied with the video quality of the DVD, you can adjust the video effect by clicking the effect button. to adjust the video effect..
c) The Wondershare DVD to iPhone Converter for Win is same to Mac version.

See how easy it is to put DVD on your iPhone. If you still have some questions, you can pm me or shoot me an e-mail, I'll reply as soon as possible.

why not try this one: DVD Ripper for Mac, it is the package of many useful software, it can converter to all most popular video/audio formats such as DVD to AVI, DivX, MPEG, MP4 , Apple TV,PSP, iPod and iPhone. i own both of ipod and iPhone, i do not want to just purchase separate software.

Why bother to try that one?

Of course, it offers a Mac version too.
