Burning dvds using Nero 7 Ultra

I am using Nero 7 Ultra and I am unable to burn dvds very quickly. For 2 at a time it takes about 50 min. and "On The Fly" takes about 20-30 min. I was wondering how I could change this to burn quicker, I burn generally at 8x for burn, and 16x for "On The Fly" My computer stats are:

Intel Pentium II Processor 931 MHz
512 MB Ram
Windows XP Professional SP2

Any help would be appreciated...Thanks
