This guide is about how to use Nidesoft DVD Ripper to rip your DVD for iPod, Zune, iPhone, PSP, Apple TV, Creative Zen, iRiver, Archos, Pocket PC, Mobile Phone, General MP3 player and so on.
Now let’s get started.

Download Nidesoft DVD Ripper (latest version: V3.0) and install the program on your computer. You could download it from: http://www.nidesoft.com

1.Load the DVD
Click the "Open DVD" button (or select the MENU "Open DVD").You could select the DVD drive to load the DVD movie. The software will analyze the IFO files to get the Movie information. This process will take some time and soon you will see the Movie Structure in the List.

2.Select subtitle, audio track and output format
a) Most DVD movies usually has several subtitles, like English, French, German, etc. You can select according to your requirement.
b) Select “audio track” as the same as select Subtitle.

c) Profile : this software can convert DVD to all popular formats, it also can extract audio track from DVD and save as MP3 and other formats which is compatible with digital audio players. Select format (Profile Setting ) as the same as select Subtitle.

3.Start conversion
If you don’t want to set any detailed settings, you can just select an output format from the profile drop-down list and click the “Convert” button to start the conversion. Then you can just go get a cup of coffee and come back later to check if the conversion is finished.

However, before you start the conversion, you may find the following operations to be very useful:
You could see the "General Setting" on the right of the UI.
With the several sliders you could set
Video Resolution
Video Quality
Audio Quality
Audio Volume
Also, if you do not set them, the software will use the default setting to convert.

Tips:
A Higher bit rate and frame rate provide result in better quality with larger size but larger output file.
