I have a problem in the advance mode when I want to split.
Example: The source is 5.4 GB. With dvd xcopy platinum I want to split: dvd 1 = 3.0 GB and dvd 2 =2.4 GB . When I choose next, the program reads the source, after that, I must put a empty dvd into the writer. He is writing, after that, the program ask for an other empty dvd. But on that dvd he is writing verry shortly and says then that he is completly the copy.
But the copy doesn\'t work.
My questing is : How Come?

I believe that after burning the first disc you need to re-enter the original one and then burn.

Hello Afonic,

Yes, I know. But first he didn\'t that.
But now I have another problem.
I can copy by splitting a dvd 9. It seems to be good, but when I put the 1st dvd in the dvd-Player it stocks at the welcome screen from 321 studios. It gives a error and won\'t run further and stops Powerdvd.
How come?

Hi,

this can be a very tricky problem. Does it happen with all discs or just sometimes?

Also make sure you have the latest version.

Hello afonic,

It happens with Ricoh DVD+RW and also with Traxdata DVD+R under version 4.0.3.8.
With version 3.2.1 no problemps with the same discs.

What can I say about this, you should better use the old version until a new one comes out. Crazy stuff....
